Guriqbal
Singh completed his MBA from Punjab University in 2005 and started working with
Bajaj Alliance in India. In 2006, he arrived in Melbourne and joined Central
Queensland University to pursue his Master of Accounting, after which he
shifted his base to Perth. Initially he started his own restaurant, to realise
soon that he is more attracted to the accounting profession. The quest took him
to H & R Block where he started working initially part time and then full
time. The liveliness and charm of Melbourne brought him to back to the most
liveable city in February 2017 when he joined Team TaxPlanners in Werribee
Office.
Soon, he realised that there is more to learn than
what he thought and decided to unleash his potentials in this field. His urge
to know more made him join CPA. He mastered corporate and business taxation,
capital gains tax, goods and services tax and cash flow projections and
business forecasts, and also completed his Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking.
He completed his CPA in 2021. Currently, he manages a large portfolio of
clients independently along with a dedicated team. Guriqbal is a Team Leader
and has high inter-personal skills. He brings extra ordinary energy and insight
into every client challenge and his dedicated interest in accounting and
taxation obligations creates a relationship that goes beyond what is expected
from today’s professional services.
Guriqbal is diligent and hardworking with an
optimistic “Can Do” attitude. He loves coaching new team members to align their
skill sets in tune with the organisational expectations. Guriqbal’s calm nature
and long standing experience compliments his interaction with new team players
at TaxPlanners with perfection. He is an ardent foodie, loves watching Netflix
and Amazon during his free time, besides spending time with his lovely partner
and two beautiful sons. With more than 12 years into this glorious journey,
Guriqbal is hungry to take futuristic challenges with assisting his clients
with perfection.
