Martin Loh, B.Bus

Martin carries a different history from all others.
Hailing from Singapore, he was required to join Singapore Army as a mandatory citizenship
obligation from 2010 to 2012. Singapore army has an active strength of approx
72,000 personnel and is callable of mobilizing over a million reservists in
case of national exigencies or full scale war and Martin was proudly one of
them until he shifted to Melbourne.
Martin did Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT
in 2016. Prior to that, Martin had completed Diploma in Management from
Singapore University. Even though he joined a small firm of accountants as book
keeper, he didn’t know what he wants to do in his life. Martin joined
TaxPlanners in October 2017 but it wasn’t until mid 2018 when he devoted
himself to the digital platform adoption and transition from server based
solutions to the cloud based solutions.
By the end of 2019, Martin had transformed himself as Xero
Certified Advisor and established himself as an Expert in resolving accounting
software issues to training our clients who were using Xero for the first time.
Besides, he also trained himself extensively with the taxation of Individuals,
Companies, Trust and Self Managed Super Fund and is handling an independent
portfolio of clients by himself. Eyeing future opportunities, he started his
CPA as well to broaden his professional knowledge and skills.
Martin is a team player, has a calm nature and a
pleasant personality. Though he looks serious on face, he is fun loving and
funny in general. In his free time, Martin enjoys taking day walks in National
parks and Reserves to enjoy nature and the scenery. When bored, he loves
playing computer games to keep himself occupied.
